There are many PTA volunteer opportunities for all types of schedules.
PTA programs that need volunteers include: Kids in Motion PE, Bravo music appreciation, Willett Hospitality, the Willett Garden of Learning program, the Scholastic Book Fairs and RISE (recycling).
The PTA also needs volunteers for special events, such as Casino Night, Willett Field Day, the June Ice Cream Social and weekend garden work parties.
The Willett Library and the Willett Chorus also need parent volunteers.
These programs provide forums for parents to participate in the school community. There are all sorts of reasons why people choose to get involved - getting to know a new community, needing a new challenge, making a difference for our students, or just because they see a job that needs doing and don't forget - it's fun to work with children and see the world through their eyes for an hour or so. Find a reason that motivates you, and join us.
